Our sensors can detect the red, yellow, and green patterns of crops and observe potential threats to their crops, identify their conditions, monitor and estimate the yield of the entire field, and monitor the growth of the crops all from the data and imagery taken from our drone. This is known as the ‘Normalized Difference Vegetation Index’ (NDVI). By having snapshots of the field throughout their growth over the season, monitoring the crops is more efficient, time-saving, and cost-effective.
Our agriculture drone has been with us from the very beginning, helping to spray fertilizers and pesticides on a regular basis, as well as playing a big part in mitigating a pest outbreak in Brunei in 2020. It is capable of carrying a load of between 10 to 30 kilograms of liquid, designed to perform autonomous spraying of approximately 4000 to 6000 square meters in under 10 minutes - 50 times faster when compared to spraying manually. This way you can minimize inputs as much as possible whilst at the same time maximizing yield. It is one of our most prized drones, the biggest and the most eye-catching drone we have, as it never fails to grab people’s attention and interest. It is capable of spraying a hectare of land in a span of 9 minutes compared to the hours it would usually take when done manually. The innovative propulsion and control algorithms used by the MG-1P Series Agriculture Drones, which have eight rotors, ensure flying safety even if one arm or motor malfunctions during flight. The MG-1P's enhanced radar system combines three high-precision terrain detection radars with an obstacle avoidance radar which increases the aircraft's capacity to identify obstacles and follow terrain automatically by doubling detection sensitivity and allowing for multi-directional detection.
Based on a 3-gallon-per-acre application rate, and including battery-swap and payload-refilling time, the agricultural drones used in InnovAero’s drone application system can cover an impressive 14 acres per hour or around 100 acres per day.
