Founded nearly six years ago, what began as a hobby quickly transformed into a bold business idea with a mission to become Brunei's first home-grown Drone Service Provider.
Today, the company brings together dedicated professionals dedicated to delivering innovate drone solutions for every industry and application.
To pioneer, lead and nurture the local UAS ecosystem where drone technology is adopted across driving industries in Brunei Darussalam.
To provide high-quality, cost-effective drone services while upholding the highest safety standards.
To offer clients invaluable insights through efficient, low-risk operations that enhance overall performance.
In August 2019, InnovAero took flight from a modest lot in iCentre in Anggrek Desa, Brunei Darussalam. In just a few short months, we laid the foundation of our operations; building workflows, setting targets, and preparing to serve industries such as Agriculture and Construction.
As the world slowed under the weight of the COVID-19 pandemic, InnovAero regardless continued to analyze markets and continue advancing our work in drone competencies.
Following the gradual reopening to a post-pandemic reality, InnovAero began turning its ambitions into action - marking a surge in project activity in the private sector.
In our third year, InnovAero expanded beyond Brunei with our first overseas projects in Malaysia.
At home, we introduced IoT research and development in Wasan and Junjongan, while also taking steps to strengthen workplace safety through the pursuit of ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
Marking a turning point for InnovAero, 2023 became our most successful year to date. We secured our largest projects so far, serving Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) and the Department of Agriculture and Agrifood (DOAA).
The year ushered in new management, strengthening the vision and direction for growth. We also successfully met audit requirements and achieved ISO 45001:2018 certification, as well as securing approval for onshore operations through the SGRAO (Shell Group Requirement for Aircraft Operations) for RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems).
Building on the momentum of the previous year, InnovAero expanded its capabilities with the integration of LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensors, allowing us to acquire precise Point Cloud data to model, map and simulate for various industry applications.
Our role in the Oil and Gas sector also grew as we gained authorization to conduct offshore and night operations under the approval of the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA).
